The OSHOP team is making an impact beyond direct housing assistance—we’re shaping policy and community solutions through research and advocacy.
Over the past six months, OSHOP conducted detailed analyses and drafted position papers for Orlando Union Rescue Mission (OURM) President Fred B. Clayton. These research-backed insights were presented in public comment meetings and community forums to support an exciting new transitional housing project aimed at providing stability for those in need.

OSHOP Supports Youth Football and Cheer

In honor of Marcees' memory, OSHOP is sponsoring the Edgewater Pop Warner U-14 team this season, providing funding for new uniforms and equipment.
For these kids, football is more than just a game—it’s a chance to build discipline, teamwork, and community. Their dedication on the field reflects the values we uphold at OSHOP: empowerment, opportunity, and a commitment to a safer future for all.

OSHOP MAKES A SPLASH WITH SUMMER FUNDRAISER

This summer, OSHOP took action to support housing security in Central Florida—and thanks to the generosity of our community, we made waves!
Through our Summer Fundraiser, we engaged local business leaders and successfully raised more than $7,000 to fund critical projects at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission and the Christian Service Center for the Homeless. These funds will provide housing assistance, essential resources, and long-term support for individuals and families facing housing insecurity.
A heartfelt thank you to the organizations and supporters who believe in our mission and helped make this possible. Your commitment fuels our work and brings us one step closer to a future where safe, stable housing is a right—not a privilege.
